About the cHURCH
RCCG Restoration Assembly is a parish under the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, which is one of the fastest growing churches in the world today. In 2010, RCCG Restoration Chapel, then under Lagos Province 4 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, set out to establish 3 parishes within the Lagos metropolis. At that time one of the House Fellowship Units, which was hosted by Pastor Prince Akozor, was recording rapid growth. Pastor George Duke, then parish pastor of RCCG Restoration Chapel, mandated Pastor Prince Akozor to mobilize his house fellowship members for a new parish. This marked a new phase in the Christian life of both Pastor Prince and the members of his fellowship centre. The new parish was named Restoration Assembly.
The mandate given to the parish is to win the host community for Christ by making disciples of men, through deep teachings of the word of God in line with the doctrine of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The parish is active in Christian Social Responsibility activities such as yearly distribution of food items, scholarship programs, and support of the needy in the host community.
Restoration Assembly focuses on building men for Christ by teaching the true word of God from the Bible and the importance of fellowship through worship. We believe that in an atmosphere where the love of God reigns we can mould men, through the working of the Holy Spirit, to fulfill their destinies in life.
